I had been looking for a toaster to replace the crappy one I had before when I saw an article about Tim's Toasters. I knew then my search was over. I wanted the same one my parents and grandparents had. Throughout the process, Tim kept in touch with updates. It took a while but it was well worth waiting for.
As soon as I unboxed my "new" T-20-B toaster, all I could say was WOW! Just fantastic work. It is just a stunning model. It's a 70 year old like-new toaster. It's exactly as I remember it as a kid. First thing I did was make some toast, and of course it was perfect.
The toaster is fantastic and we enjoy it everyday, not only for making toast, but just to look at the beautiful design.
Tim is truly an appliance artist. Even the box is a work of art. You can't go wrong buying one of these.

It was such a pleasure to work with Tim! I decided to invest in a “new” old toaster and I love it! It took a while to get it, but there is a waitlist because he does such a fantastic unique thing. My toaster is beautiful! Thank you Tim for the beautiful restoration, communication and trust.

Thanks to Tim we now have our Sunbeam T-20 toaster back in working order. Yes, it was expensive. Yes, it took time. But it was worth every penny and every day to have our T-20 back in better than new appearance (a new cloth cord!), and working like it always did from the time I bought it at a yard sale in the mid 1980s.
Tim was in constant contact with emails and photographs throughout the entire process. And best of all, Tim provided detailed operational and maintenance instructions when the toaster came back to us. Thanks again, Tim!

Tim is just incredible, thank goodness for people like him! We sent to him my grandmother's 1953 Sunbeam toaster that my mother and my uncle gave her just after she was widowed. We have a very close Cajun family and there are precious few heirlooms passed down through ordinary families like ours, especially from a woman who raised two children on her own on a teacher's salary in the 1950's, so yes, a toaster can mean that much to someone. I'd confidently venture to say that there is no more trustworthy person out there for yours than Tim.

Tim is simply the BEST. The restoration takes time but he does keep you updated with the progress(with photos) and once you receive it, Tim goes the extra mile to include old advert, instruction, and packaging reproductions and it’s the attention to detail that gives you confidence in the restoration of the Sunbeam toaster!
Time rebuilt my Sunbeam toaster and I have to think it looks as good as new -- or even better! It works perfectly. Tim has kept me informed of his progress and sent many photos of the work in progress and parts used.
Another job well done by Tim! This is my third toaster Tim has done for me (don't ask). Can't speak high enough as to this savior of Sunbeam toasters!

My toaster is now a gorgeous centerpiece in my kitchen and it toasts beautifully. No more toast rudely popping out of the toaster and scaring you when you're staring at it... only gently rising toast, the way it was meant to be.

Tim was awesome helping me to acquire a toaster for my grandpa's 93rd birthday that was the same as my grandparents wedding gift!
Tim was a wonderful discovery. He went way out of his way to help me with my problem. My T-20-B is restored to like-new condition. Tim’s a very busy man, but he took a lot of time out of his schedule to call me and explain what was going on and why I was having problems. Tim’s work is meticulous! I truly enjoyed his communications by email and speaking with him on the phone. It takes time to have your toaster restored, but definitely worth the wait. Thanks Tim!

Great communication and a brilliant job. Tim explained the process to refurbish my thermostat assembly along with a photo of the replacement part needed.
Posting relatively fragile parts from Australia to the other side of the world can be an unsettling experience but Tim packed the part very well and it arrived in undamaged condition and looking like new.
I refitted the thermostat and my toaster now makes toast the way it should.

My parents had a Sunbeam toaster when I was growing up. I don't know what happened to that Sunbeam, but it didn't end up with me. I found one on eBay and Tim was able to restore it to perfection. He has given me a piece of my childhood back, and I will be forever grateful. I will treasure it forever.

If you are as obsessed with your toaster as much as I am and wish that it was brand new, that is what Tim did to my 1950's toaster. The process takes a while, but I assure you it is worth the wait. Once your toaster is in the queue to be restored Tim is in regular communication with you, sending photos, and explaining what is happening. It's nice to be part of that experience. Highly recommend! I love my shiny "new" toaster.
Even though I didn't send in my toaster, Tim was very kind & willing to help troubleshoot with me over the phone as to why my rewired toaster was tripping the ground fault. We got it working with his expertise & there's no other person I'd trust or send it to for maintenance in the future than him!
I am thrilled with Tims restoration of my T-20B toaster! Absolutely stunning. Like new again and functions flawlessly. Tim told me beforehand what the wait time would be, sent me pictures when he started, regularly updated me during each step with more pictures. He's a very skilled, courteous and kind craftsman. I highly recommend him if you have one of these gems from the past.
30 or 40 years ago, my husband told me about the toaster he had growing up. “The toast slowly rose out of the toaster. It didn’t pop up, like other toasters.”
I didn’t believe him. I thought he was pulling my leg. Then I found Tim’s Toasters. I had to get one for Tom. And we love it! Tim does beautiful restoration work. And he is so charming! I’m ordering another one!

No regrets having this done! Tim is a fabulous person! He kept me informed throughout the entire process. I am so glad that I had this done! This was my late Mother's Sunbeam toaster and it is the only one that I can remember while growing up. The craftsmanship and details that he puts into the restoration is amazing! I'm sure if I could go back in time to 1955 this toaster would look exactly the same. The toaster works flawlessly. Great job!!
I contacted Tim after stumbling on his site when I procured a T-20 B from eBay. His thorough description of the restoration process made it a no-brainer to have the work done at Tim’s. While the wait was quite a while for him to begin work, it was simply testament to his skills and artistry. Before work began on my unit, Tim emailed me with the details on his start date. Then pictures and descriptions began. It was so exciting to know about the progress. Just before final reassembly, more progress pictures and specific details about my unit came. Shipping details and tracking were given and then it arrived. So amazingly detailed! Everything looked totally amazing. I love the toaster. You’ll love yours, too.

Attention to detail makes all the difference. If you have any interest in owning a piece of toaster history, Tim is the right man for the job. We actually own two T-20 toasters and you can tell the difference between them from across the room. Tim's is polished, clean and has a beautiful cord.
Tim did an excellent job on my T20A toaster restoration. Could not be happier with the quality of his work. He stayed in contact with us throughout the process to let us know the status and progress. Recommend Tim's Toaster restoration to anyone who has an old Sunbeam they want fixed or fully restored.
Tim is the absolute best at toaster restoration. He just finished my T-20B and it is magnificent!! Couldn't be more pleased with the job he did and the attention to detail that is put into his work. I highly recommend Tim for your toaster restoration job!! 🙂
